Probably the best looking snowboard we have done to date, but looks aren’t everything when it comes to snowboards. For the La Catrina we wanted to try something different with our regular camber boards, introducing the Hybrid core.
First things first the graphics. This is probably the raddest board graphics to date. When artist Nick Baxter sent us through the design we knew it had to be in our 2015 line up. If you get a close look at the board its super detailed and super beautiful but also super bad ass. Really makes me want a burrito.
What the fuck is a hybrid core you ask? La Catrina Regular Camber’s core of bamboo and paulonia is excellent for max board performance and responsiveness. The hybrid core features bamboo running down the rail and centre line of the board for power transfer and maximum pop. Then we throw plantation grown Paulonia wood in the mix to help reduce the overall board weight but still maintain board feel. This core will offer superior performance for an all mountain shredder.
This is definitely our most premium board on our 2015 line up.
