We make awesome boards, but sometimes things aren’t as awesome as we’d like, it happens to all of us. So every Kyneee board comes with a 10 year warranty covering manufacturing and production defects. If we judge a product to be defective, we’ll repair or replace it.
Warranty covers the original purchaser only and isn’t transferable. All products need to be returned to us for inspection, and you’ll need pre-approval before sending anything back.
Not Covered
- Damage from rider carelessness, abuse, misuse, or neglect
- Impact damage — rocks, stumps, rails, etc.
- Damage from unauthorised modifications made after purchase
- Stress cracks in lacquer and non-structural cracks on used boards
- Scratches, chips, or indentations in the topsheet
- Graphic fading, discolouration, or aesthetic blemishes that don’t affect performance
- Abrasion and normal wear and tear
- Minor base irregularities, including dimples near binding inserts
- Damage from improper binding mounting or adjustment
- Damage from using the wrong length binding screws
- Improper rider-to-board match (e.g. too much weight for too short a board)
- Spinning or stripped inserts from improper mounting
- Shipping damage not reported within 48 hours of receiving your board
- Damage caused by chairlift breakage
- Damage from solvents, adhesives, or Loc-Tite®
Covered
- Structural cracks or water infiltration on top laminate, base, core, or sidewall from improper lamination
- Topsheet, edge, sidewall, tip, or tail protector delamination
- Tip/tail radius lacquer cracks causing loss of adhesion to the top surface
- Insert cracks, structural cracks, or water infiltration around inserts
- Spinning or stripped inserts not caused by improper mounting
Repaired or replaced boards are subject to availability — we’ll do our best to match your original in size, camber, and price.
Half Price Replacement Program
Snapping or damaging a board sucks… but sometimes when you go big, it’s bound to happen. If your Kyneee board becomes unridable, we’ll offer 50% off a replacement of similar value. Heads up: this only applies to full-price purchases, so you can’t ride a board for a season, take a hacksaw to it, and grab a new one at half price every year.
